This set consists of two slim metal repair pins for electronics, soldering and desoldering work.

Each tool has an overall length of approximately 11.5 cm and features a USB-C shaped handle / connector at the end. The two tools are marked in red and blue for easy identification.

The slim metal pins can be used as practical aids when working on circuit boards and electronic components, particularly for soldering, desoldering and clearing small solder-filled holes or through-holes.

For a typical desoldering application, the solder is heated until molten and the suitable metal pin is carefully passed through the opening. Once the solder has cooled, the pin can be removed, leaving the hole open for installing a replacement component.

Their compact and slim design makes the tools particularly useful for small PCBs, connectors and electronic assemblies.

⚠️ The USB-C connector is part of the mechanical design of the tool. It does not provide an electrical, charging or data function.

Features

• Set of 2 repair / desoldering pins
• Length approx. 11.5 cm each
• Slim metal construction
• USB-C shaped handle / connector
• 1× red marking
• 1× blue marking
• Suitable for precise electronics work
• Useful for soldering and desoldering
• Helps clear solder-filled PCB holes
• Suitable for small circuit boards
• Compact and easy to handle
• No power supply required
• Reusable electronics repair tool

Applications

The metal pins can be used as practical tools for various electronics repair tasks, including:

• PCB and circuit board repairs
• Soldering work
• Desoldering work
• Clearing solder-filled through-holes
• Working on small solder joints
• Removing residual solder from suitable openings
• Working on small electronic components
• Smartphone repairs
• Controller repairs
• Console and handheld repairs
• General electronics repairs

Use for Desoldering

For a typical application, the existing solder is first heated with a soldering iron until it becomes molten.

A suitably sized metal pin can then be carefully inserted through the solder-filled opening.

Once the solder has cooled sufficiently, the tool can be removed again.

This method can be useful for clearing PCB through-holes before fitting a replacement component.

Depending on the repair, additional tools such as desoldering braid, a solder sucker, flux or hot air may also be required.

USB-C Design

Both tools feature a USB-C shaped connector / handle at the lower end.

⚠️ The USB-C design does not mean that these are electronic USB devices.

There is no USB data transmission, charging function or electrical power requirement. The USB-C connector is simply part of the mechanical design of the tool.

Two Colours for Easy Identification

The set includes two tools:

1× Red
1× Blue

The different colours make it easy to distinguish between the two tools during repair work.

This can also be useful when using each pin for different repair steps or applications.

Compact Dimensions

Each tool has an overall length of approximately 11.5 cm.

The slim and straight design makes the pins particularly suitable for precise work on small circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
