TMR Technology

TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) is a magnetic sensor technology used for contactless detection of the analog stick position.

Conventional controller sticks typically use potentiometers with physical contact tracks. These tracks are mechanically stressed whenever the stick is moved and can wear over time. This wear can result in inaccurate position readings and contribute to stick drift.

The GuliKit TMR stick instead detects its position magnetically and without physical contact.

This eliminates the sliding contact tracks typically used for position sensing in conventional potentiometers, making TMR technology an excellent alternative for controller repairs and upgrades.

Typical Fault Symptoms
